You have options!Įach video will account for one hour of community service, so feel free to watch up to 4 episodes a semester. These are a couple of examples on how you can earn your 8 hours of community service. For example, you can complete 4 hours virtually and 4 hours in the community, you could complete 2 hours virtually and 6 hours in the community or you could complete all 8 hours by working in your community rather than utilize virtual community service webinars. There are various ways you can earn your 8 hours of community service. If you try to view more than 4 virtual community service webinars, you will be presented with an error message. The remaining 4 hours must be completed via job shadowing and/or volunteering in the community. Virtual community service webinars will still be available to you in order to complete your community service requirement for TN Promise eligibility however, you will only be allowed to complete up to 4 virtual community service webinars for each community service deadline. IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the emergence of COVID-19 in recent years, tnAchieves has allowed you to complete all 8 of your community service hours via virtual community service webinars provided on our website.
